Delete your character

DimeTown has no accounts: your character is your account. Deleting it removes it for good.

In the game (instant)

1. Open DimeTown on the device you play on.
2. Open the phone (📱, or press P).
3. Tap the gear, then Delete and Delete forever.

By email

If you can't open the game, or want a past character deleted (for example one that died), email support@dimetown.com with the subject "Delete my character", the character's name, and roughly when you last played. We'll confirm within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• The character: name, look, cash, bank, stats, items, progress and position.
• Their texts, NPCs' memories and opinions of them, their game history, and their blocks.
• Reports they sent that have already been dealt with.

What we keep

• Reports other players made about the character, and our moderation decisions, for as long as needed to keep the game safe.
• Reports they sent that are still open, without their name, so a moderator can still act on them.
• Pseudonymous analytics, which aren't linked to the character's name.
